  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

In the early 1960's Russia introduced the pressing and distribution of illegal pop music during a shortage of vinyl recording materials. People would dig through hospital waste bins to find discarded X-Rays prints which was used to create their own bootleg vinyl using a standard wax disk cutter to copy records that managed to make it into the Soviet Union.

They would then etch a copy of an album into the X-Ray, cut it into a crude circle with manicure scissors, and use a cigarette to burn a hole in the middle, allowing the record to be played on the turntable, this was known as 'Bone Music'.

Limited run of 50 'X-Ray' Flexi Disc Edition available exclusively to Bandcamp.
